Sr. IT ManagerThe IT Manager manages all processes, operations and teams within the Information Technology department. This job participates in determining the Information Technology needs of an organization and is responsible for managing a team that implements solutions to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements.Key Responsibilities and Duties Manages and monitors the successful delivery of Information Technology services for the organization's hardware, software and network technologies. Maintains Information Technology teams and systems to ensure that the area's technological level is up to date by implementing new procedures and techniques related to Information Technology. Provides input into the team's project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Completes cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects as input to the organization's IT roadmap. Sets Information Technology goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results. Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of team. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in systems integration, enterprise architecture, or API engineering Strong hands-on experience with API Gateways, REST APIs, OAuth/Token Auth, and related integration patterns. Advanced experience with Apache Kafka, including topic management, schema registry, consumer groups, and streaming frameworks Experience designing and managing orchestration platforms/workflows Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and distributed systems Proven track record building operational support frameworks (SLAs, monitoring, runbooks) Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes). Prior experience integrating ERP, CRM, and Core enterprise applications. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. Certification in integration platforms (Mulesoft, Kafka, API Gateway tools) is a plus Educational Requirements University (Degree) Preferred Physical Requirements Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level8PLAdditional InformationKey Responsibilities:Integration Strategy & Architecture Lead the strategy, design, and roadmap for enterprise integrations across multiple systems and platforms. Define integration patterns using API Gateway, Kafka, Event Streaming, and microservicesâ??based orchestration layers. Own and govern the integration architecture ensuring secure, scalable, and standardized connectivity. API & Gateway Integration Management Oversee development of RESTful API integrations using enterprise API Gateway platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, Mulesoft, AWS API Gateway). Define API governance, lifecycle management, versioning, and performance standards. Collaborate with application teams to onboard services into the API ecosystem. Kafka & Event Streaming Design and manage realâ??time data integrations using Kafka topics, connectors, schemas, and streaming pipelines. Establish governance for event creation, publishing, consumption, retention, and monitoring. Ensure highâ??availability, performance tuning, and operational readiness for Kafka-based integrations. Orchestration Layer Design & Management Build and manage orchestration workflows using enterprise workflow orchestration platforms (e.g., Camunda, Temporal, Airflow). Standardize the orchestration layer to streamline crossâ??system processes, including retries, error handling, and logging. Partner with engineering teams to ensure orchestrated workflows support business SLAs and operational continuity. Operational Integration Model Develop and maintain an Operational Integration Management Model (support model, runbook, SLAs, monitoring, escalation pathways). Establish integration observability: logging, tracing, alerting, and KPI dashboards. Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement for integration reliability. Crossâ??Functional Leadership Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, product teams, operations, and security for integration priorities. Lead and mentor a team of integration engineers, architects, and specialists. Provide executive-level reporting on integration roadmap, risks, and performance metrics.
