Armed Security Officer - Gatehouse Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday Hours: 11:00pm - 7:00am Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL Position Overview Cambridge Security Services is seeking professional Armed Security Officers for upscale country clubs, residential gatehouses, and patrol assignments. Officers will maintain a safe and secure environment through visible deterrence, access control, and proactive patrol. Key Responsibilities Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior & exterior) Control access and verify guest/vendor credentials Monitor CCTV and alarm systems Respond to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports Provide high-level customer service to residents, members, and guests Enforce property rules and post orders Minimum Requirements Valid Florida Class D & G Security Licenses (Required) Valid Driver's License with clean driving record Minimum 2 years of armed security experience (preferred) High School Diploma or equivalent 21 years of age or older Ability to pass background screening and drug test Reliable transportation Skills & Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication Professional appearance and demeanor Situational awareness and sound judgment Ability to remain calm under pressure Physical & Work Environment Indoor and outdoor assignments Extended standing and walking Exposure to various weather conditions Benefits (Full-Time Employees) Major Medical Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Vacation Industry-Leading Training Work Perks Discount Program Free Uniforms
