Industrial Electrician

Job Description: Skillforce is hiring experienced Industrial Journeyman Electricians to support ongoing electrical service projects in the Lock Haven area. This is a long-term, temp-to-permanent opportunity for skilled electricians who take pride in quality work and reliability. Pay & Schedule $30-$35/hour, depending on experience Duration: 1 year or longer Temp-to-permanent position with a 6-month probationary period Responsibilities Diagnose, test, and repair electrical system failures, including wiring, conduit, lighting, and power distribution components. Install, connect, and test new electrical equipment, automation controllers, VFDs, and sensors. Use testing devices (multimeters, ohmmeters) to identify issues in motor control centers and PLCs. Perform regular inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment downtime. Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes. Requirements Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience Ability to run up to 4" rigid conduit Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints. Deep understanding of electrical circuits, industrial systems, and control systems (PLC, VFDs). OSHA 10 required Ability to climb, crawl, and stand for long periods, often lifting up to 50 lbs.
