Billing Coordinator WR Immigration is a global immigration firm known worldwide for its innovation, technology, high touch legal services, and flawless execution. WR is one of the fastest growing immigration service providers worldwide with over 50 attorneys and 150 immigration professionals working out of offices in Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Oakland, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Monica, and Shanghai. The Billing Coordinator supports the firm's attorneys and accounting team by preparing, organizing, and validating billing-related information prior to submission to accounting. This role plays a key part in helping reduce billing issues, improve data accuracy, and ensure a smooth billing and accounting workflow. While this position works closely with accounting, it is not a senior accounting role and does not require prior professional experience. Candidates with minimal or no prior experience are encouraged to apply, provided they have a strong academic foundation in accounting and an interest in professional services. This is a full-time position and is well suited for recent graduates or early-career accounting professionals seeking hands-on experience supporting billing and accounting operations in a fast-paced, professional services environment. This is a hybrid role supporting the firm as a whole and is based out of our Santa Monica, California headquarters; one day of in-office presence is required each workweek. Responsibilities: Preparing, reviewing, and organizing billing-related data for submission to accounting Supporting the identification and resolution of billing discrepancies and data issues Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of billing information across internal systems Assisting with reconciliation of attorney time, fees, and related billing data Working closely with attorneys and internal teams to clarify billing questions and correct data issues Following up on missing or unclear billing information Maintaining organized billing records and documentation Assisting with billing workflow improvements and process organization Supporting additional accounting or operations-related projects as assigned Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Comfort working with financial data, spreadsheets, and internal systems Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a professional environment Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with attorneys and internal teams Preferred Qualifications: Mandarin language proficiency (preferred; helpful for EB-5 related work) Internship, academic, or entry-level exposure to billing, accounting, or audits Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills Interest in professional services, legal, or accounting operations environments Compensation: The pay rate for this role is $25$30 per hour.
