Why This Opportunity Matters • Competitive compensation packages through our client companies • Work on high-profile commercial, industrial, and data center projects • Opportunity to work with the latest fire alarm hardware and design platforms • Access to advanced training and guidance toward NICET certification • Work alongside top-tier contractors and design teams across the region What You'll Do as a Fire Alarm Designer • Develop detailed fire alarm system designs, drawings, and layouts • Produce riser diagrams, floor plans, device locations, and wiring details using CAD or industry design software • Ensure all designs meet NFPA codes, local AHJ requirements, and project specifications • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Lead Technicians, and field teams to ensure seamless installation • Review submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation for accuracy • Assist with design revisions, product selection, and integration of advanced technologies • Support construction teams with design clarification and technical guidance Who You Are • 3+ years of experience designing commercial fire alarm systems • Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable local codes • Proficient with CAD platforms or fire alarm design software • Familiar with addressable fire alarm systems and device selection • Experience designing commercial, institutional, or mission-critical facilities • NICET II or III preferred (or active pursuit encouraged) • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple design tasks simultaneously • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ready to Design the Systems That Keep People Safe?
