Job Description The Physician Assistant provides high quality medical care to the patients of Upper Chesapeake Medical Center for our general surgery practice. Performs Patient History & Physical Examinations. Evaluates the medical status of general surgery patients. Writes orders under physician?s supervision. Documents findings on appropriate designated forms. Assists surgeons in the OR. Qualifications Education 4 year / Bachelor?s Degree: Physician Assistant (Required) Master?s Degree (Preferred) Certification / Licensure / Registration BLS Certification (Required) HCCPA Re-certification exam every six years (Required) Physician Assistant (Required) Registration from Maryland State Board of Physician Quality Assurance (Required) Experience and Skills 0 - 1 year Physician Assistant (Required) 2 - 4 years Physician Assistant (Preferred) Required Skills: Strong critical care patient management experience preferred.
