This position is responsible for ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and building systems are properly maintained and guest-ready at all times.This role offers 30–40 hours per week based on hotel demand , with consistent year-round work available.Responsibilities Perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs Complete minor electrical repairs including switches, outlets, and lighting Perform plumbing repairs including toilets, sinks, drains, and fixtures Repair drywall, sheetrock, and complete painting projects as needed Troubleshoot basic HVAC issues and complete preventative maintenance tasks Maintain pool and spa equipment and assist with water chemistry monitoring Replace light bulbs and fixtures in guest rooms and common areas Repair flooring, ceilings, walls, doors, and other building components Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Assist with exterior upkeep, including snow removal when necessary Identify and report maintenance issues and preventative needs Follow all safety procedures and hotel standards Requirements Experience in building maintenance, hotel maintenance, or similar role preferred Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and general repairs Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders safely Reliable and dependable Weekend availability as needed Schedule 30–40 hours per week Flexible schedule based on hotel needs Year-round position
