Job #: 128312 Title: Assembly Line Worker - Burlington, IA Location: Burlington Area Salary Range: $12.00 Position: Assembly Description: Team Staffing is currently hiring assemblers for a local manufacturer in Burlington, IA. Team members will be required to work 10 hour shifts and must be available for mandatory overtime. 1st shift: 6am - 4pm Monday - Thursday, possible overtime on Friday and Saturday Pay: $12.00/hr. Responsibilities: Assemble parts and pieces of various sized satellite dishes, mounting brackets, and antennas Run various machines to assist with the assembly process Use small hand tools to assist with assembly Hang or un-hang unfinished parts for painting Inspect finished product and assure quality Pack parts and finished products according to customer specifications Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production quotas Qualifications: Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to use hands and arms for long periods of time performing repetitive work Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check & drug screen Must be able to stand on concrete for 10 hours a day Must be available to work overtime as needed Must be dependable and have good attendance Must be able to maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with all safety procedures and regulations Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Good work history is also a plus. Compensation for the Assembly Worker This is considered a long- term assignment therefore employees can be eligible to earn up to 40 hours of paid time off (PTO) and up to 32 hours of casual time per year. Once meeting certain eligibility requirements employees can also receive 6 paid holidays per year.
