Job Description_ Location_United States (Remote / Hybrid)_ About the Role_The Solution Architect — Azure is a senior, client-facing technical leader responsible for designing secure, scalable, and cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role requires both breadth and depth across the Azure platform — the ability to speak credibly across infrastructure, networking, security, data, AI, and modern application development, while also possessing the expertise to go deep in one or more of these domains when engagements demand hands-on architectural precision. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable framing a high-level solution during a presales pursuit as they are diving into Fabric lakehouse design, network topology decisions, or container orchestration patterns.This role spans the full engagement lifecycle, from presales architecture and deal shaping through delivery design assurance, ensuring architectural intent and data strategy are preserved from pursuit through implementation. The Solution Architect serves as a trusted technical authority to clients and internal teams alike, operating independently to lead workshops, shape solutions, and govern architecture quality across active engagements.Key Responsibilities Design cloud-native Azure architectures using CAF and Well-Architected Framework principles.Define modern data estate architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.Define enterprise network architectures including hybrid connectivity and secure landing zones.Architect modern, API-driven and event-based solution patterns.Support presales pursuits, discovery workshops, and solution governance.Provide delivery design assurance and architectural governance.Develop level-of-effort estimates, architecture deliverables, and technical contributions to Statements of Work for client pursuits. Traveling up to 50% annually to support sales pursuits. Qualifications: Qualifications_ Required Qualifications_ 8+ years in solution, cloud, or data architecture roles.Strong expertise in cloud native architecture using microservices, containerization, and programming languages or frameworks (i.e. .NET, C-Sharp, Python, React, Angular)Strong expertise with release pipelines using CI/CD and IaC.Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and networking.Strong expertise in modern data estate including Medallion architecture, lambda or Kappa architecture, Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Databricks.Proven client-facing consulting experienceStrong presentation and architectural governanceDemonstrated understanding of generative AI-assisted development tools and workflows, including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or spec-driven development practices, with the ability to apply these tools to accelerate architecture design, code generation, and delivery execution.Experience in regulated industries.Azure migration and modernization experience. _ Certifications_Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.Microsoft Fabric or Databricks certifications.Additional InformationBase Salary Pay Range: $170,000 - $230,000 USD/$155,000 - $215,000 CADThe current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
