Job Description Assembler I or II -3rd shift 11:30pm- 6:30am (Sunday -Thursday) $16.00 - $18 DOE St Petersburg This position is responsible for producing products and components by assembling parts and sub assemblies. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and/or visual factory. Assembler Will primarily be responsible for assembly of basic copper or fiber products. Essential Functions Assembles parts according to work instruction, verbal instruction, drawings, and/or diagrams Reads, understands and navigates through assembly process documents to assemble product Positions parts and sub assemblies by using templates or reading measurements Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts & sub assemblies Monitors and reports regarding product quality and equipment findings to ensure production and quality standards Measures cable length per customer specifications Documents actions by completing production and quality forms Executes assembly sequence duties consistently meeting productivity and quality expectations Meets all departmental productivity targets Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules ®ulations Prepares, operates and cleans production equipment as appropriate for the successful completion of cable assembly "All applicants must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen." Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. General Math Skills , able to count and measure Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions Able to take direction and follow assembly operations and wire lists Demonstrate proficiency in OJT process Skills and Abilities Accurate visual acuity for color and dept perception Vision sufficient to accurately measure in fractions of an inch Manual dexterity to handle small hand tools Read and understand basic assembly instructions Comprehend written and verbal assignments Ability to work as a team member in a diverse work environment Lift and carry 40lbs (with assistance if needed) Intermittent sitting, standing, and walking Minimum to moderate noise level Bench work requiring bending , leaning, and extended seating Fast paced schedule conscious work environment Salary $16-$18 per hour DOE Meet Your RecruiterDana Alfano D'ettorre Branch Manager 727 577 5700
