Lead Water Restoration Technician 1-800 WATER DAMAGE is a trusted property restoration company serving customers across the nation. With locations spanning coast-to-coast, we help home and business owners return their property to its original condition, while restoring what truly mattershealth and safety. Our team is fully vetted, IICRC-certified, and insured for your safety. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Water Restoration Technician to oversee water damage restoration projects. The ideal candidate is a certified professional with strong leadership skills and expertise in water mitigation and restoration processes. Key Responsibilities - Lead and supervise restoration crews on water damage projects, ensuring safety and quality standards. - Assess water damage, develop restoration plans, and execute mitigation procedures. - Operate and maintain equipment (e.g., water extractors, dehumidifiers, air movers). - Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members to coordinate project timelines and updates. - Document project details, including photos, moisture readings, and work logs. - Ensure compliance with IICRC standards and local regulations. - Train and mentor junior technicians as needed. Responsibilities - Intake new losses via phone, email, and fax. - Monitor updates in DMS for job status, documentation of communication from insurance and customer. - Monitor updates in XactAnalysis/Alacrity/Lions Bridge daily. - Monitor field paperwork is completed and up to date. - Update Dropbox daily with status updates, files, and move for finalized billing. - Scheduling subcontractors and technicians for daily work. - Ordering materials testing for mold and asbestos for jobs. - Review work site and completed technician paperwork prior to releasing projects. Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED. - Must maintain a valid Driver's License and maintain a safe driving record. - Must be able to exercise good judgment and to understand and carry out written and/or oral instructions, along with sound problem solving ability. - Must be able to stand; walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel reach with hands & arms and talk or hear. - Must be able to regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
