Explains Mammography procedure to the patient and/or family member in a thorough and professional manner. Performs Mammography procedures ascertaining appropriate imaging parameters (MAS, KVP, positioning, etc.) are utilized, providing physician with a quality diagnostic procedure. Provides education on an as needed basis to new and existing clinical team members Manages clinical team members on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Performs quality control on equipment ascertaining compliance with regulations. Notifies management immediately of any potential malfunction or hazard of equipment. Maintains all documentation supporting the quality control program and regulatory compliance. Serves as a point of contact for physician offices requiring clinical information and responds to requests within 24 hours. Maintains an open line of communication with the dictating radiologist to ensure department images are constantly evaluated and improved. Orders supplies for the division, ensuring that patient care is not interrupted. Prepares and maintains department paperwork, verifying accuracy of information.
