Job Title: Cloud Architect Location:Remote Employment Type: ContractPay Range: $105- $110/hr ( DOE) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect (Lead) to define and guide the cloud architecture strategy for a scalable, multi-tenant platform. This role will focus on establishing architectural best practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing technical leadership to engineering teams during implementation. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain the cloud architecture roadmap aligned with business and technical goals Design and oversee multi-tenant architecture ensuring scalability, security, and performance Provide architectural guidance and reviews for implementation across engineering teams Ensure adherence to AWS best practices, including cost optimization, security, and reliability Lead cloud governance efforts and ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other relevant standards Collaborate with product, security, and engineering stakeholders to align architecture decisions Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies related to scalability, performance, and compliance Serve as a technical escalation point for complex architectural challenges Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture or related roles Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architectures Hands-on experience designing and operating multi-tenant systems Proven experience with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA and SOC 2 Solid understanding of security, identity management, networking, and data protection in the cloud Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications AWS certifications (Solutions Architect - Professional preferred) Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, fintech, SaaS) Prior experience in a lead or advisory architecture role Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) MatchPoint Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
