Pain Management Physician

Position Overview We are seeking a locum Pain Management & Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to provide inpatient coverage beginning approximately April 1 in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a low-intensity rounding role with light call responsibilities and a flexible schedule. Assignment Details Start Date: April 1 Licensure: Louisiana license not required to present (can be obtained after acceptance) Schedule: Flexible blocks available Call: 24-hour call coverage with very minimal callback Weekday Rounding: 4 6 hours/day Weekend Rounding: 2 3 hours/day Setting: Inpatient consultative pain management & rehabilitation EMR: Epic Responsibilities Inpatient pain management and rehab consults Medication management and treatment planning Collaboration with hospitalists, specialists, and therapy teams Occasional call coverage (primarily phone availability) Compensation & Perks Competitive locums compensation Travel & lodging fully covered Malpractice insurance provided Ideal Candidate Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management, PM&R, or related specialty Comfortable with inpatient consultative care Seeking low-acuity, predictable coverage with minimal interruptions by Jobble
