As we continue to pursue new goals, it's an exciting time to join the Bragg and Total Western teams. We are currently hiring a Recruiter in our Long Beach, CA headquarters. Position Overview: The Recruiter manages the full-cycle recruitment process, delivering a professional and seamless candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. This role partners closely with hiring managers to post and manage requisitions, screen and interview candidates, prepare and present offers, coordinate pre-employment steps, and maintain accurate ATS records while ensuring compliance. Serving as a trusted advisor to leadership, the Recruiter analyzes hiring data, evaluates recruiting tools and vendors, and drives continuous improvement to align talent acquisition strategies with business goals. Key Responsibilities: Be a Strategic Partner Build strong relationships with hiring managers and executive leadership. Understand workforce needs, timelines, and priorities. Advise on market conditions, sourcing strategies, and talent availability. Lead Full-Cycle Recruiting Open and manage requisitions. Source, screen, interview, and advance top talent. Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications. Prepare and present offers and manage negotiations. Coordinate pre-employment steps and onboarding handoffs. Source Like a Pro Proactively build pipelines for operations, technical, and corporate roles. Leverage creative sourcing strategies, referrals, networking, and field outreach. Build and maintain relationships with external talent communities. Think beyond job boards. Be a Brand Ambassador Represent Bragg and Total Western with professionalism, warmth, and confidence. Deliver a high-touch, human candidate experience. Market who we are and what makes us different. Ensure our job postings and outreach are on-brand and compelling. Build the Machine Maintain accurate ATS records. Track recruiting metrics and hiring activity. Evaluate recruiting tools and vendor partnerships. Continuously improve how we recruit and hire. Required Qualifications:Experience: 4+ years of experience leading full cycle recruiting. Prior recruiting experience is a plus but not required for candidates with strong industry fluency, sourcing aptitude, and relationship-building skills. Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, ADP, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint). Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially. Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Employment Law and Regulations: Working knowledge of California hiring compliance, including non-discriminatory hiring practices, background check and Fair Chance requirements, and wage transparency standards. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification: Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is highly desirable. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the construction, industrial services, or manufacturing industry and familiarity with safety and compliance standards. Work Environment: Physical Conditions: Standard office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. May occasionally require standing or moving between office areas. Travel: Occasional local and regional travel to recruiting events, job fairs, and field locations to support hiring needs What We Offer: Salary: $85,000-$97,000 per year Health and Wellness Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
