Bollman Hat Company is looking for an HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function in Adamstown, PA supporting our global workforce. If you're passionate about developing employees, building strong teams, and improving processes, you'll feel right at home here. What You'll Do As our HR Manager, you'll be the go-to resource for all things people-related. You'll lead a small but mighty HR team while partnering closely with leaders across the company. Here's what your day might include: Lead & Develop the HR Team Provide leadership, coaching, and support to HR staff. Drive employee engagement, professional development, and process improvements. Lead weekly HR meetings and support organizational planning. Champion Employee Relations Serve as a trusted coach for employees and managers. Guide disciplinary processes and facilitate offboarding and exit interviews. Maintain accurate records in the HRIS and support confidential data management. Coordinate employment-related risk matters with external partners and leadership, keeping the Risk Manager and senior leaders informed of potential issues. Own Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manage full-cycle recruiting for all departments. Post positions, coordinate interviews, and partner with staffing agencies as needed. Create a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires. Manage Benefits & Leaves Administer health, retirement, wellness, and disability programs. Support employees with benefits questions, claims, and open enrollment. Oversee FMLA, ADA accommodations, and leave management. Lead Safety & Compliance Efforts Serve as an active leader on the Safety Committee. Complete OSHA reporting and support workers' compensation claims. Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment regulations. Support HR Operations & Culture Prepare reports, audits, metrics, and HR communications. Help plan company events, awards, newsletters, and employee engagement activities. Collaborate with leaders on HR policies, updates, and special projects. What We're Looking For You'll be successful in this role if you bring: Experience & Education 5+ years of HR management experience (manufacturing is a plus). 3+ years of safety/leave administration experience. Bachelor's degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience). HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred. Skills & Strengths Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Strong project management, change management, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office; HRIS experience required. Ability to work confidentially, stay organized, and adapt to shifting priorities. Personal Attributes Team-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. Integrity, professionalism, and a genuine desire to support employees at all levels.
