Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) providing essential patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment. This role involves performing routine daily care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring patients receive compassionate and timely assistance. Job Summary As a Patient Care Technician, you will deliver direct patient care within your licensure scope, including vital sign monitoring, cardiac telemetry support, phlebotomy, wound care, and assisting with procedures. You will also help patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and meal assistance, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Key Responsibilities Perform technical skills like CPR, EKG acquisition, bladder scanning, and telemetry monitoring. Assist patients with daily living activities including hygiene, positioning, and mobility. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Document patient care accurately and assist with scheduling tests and procedures. Maintain patient room supplies and ensure infection control protocols are followed. Participate actively in team efforts and respond promptly to emergency codes. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program. One to two years of patient care experience, preferably in acute care settings. Telemetry experience is a plus. Licenses and Certifications Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Medical Assistant Phlebotomy certification preferred. Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of patient care practices within the nursing assistant scope. Ability to apply age-specific care principles across life stages. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records and medical equipment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in challenging situations. Work Environment This position offers 0.9 FTE night shifts (1800-0630) in a collaborative healthcare setting.
