CNC Machinist

A growing machining company in Neenah, WI is seeking a skilled Bar/Horizontal Machinist; Direct Hire! This is a full-time opportunity with a 4-day work week, consistent hours, and a strong benefits package. Ideal candidates will have solid CNC bar experience and the ability to machine large frames and weldments. The Bar/Horizontal Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC bar or horizontal machining centers to produce precision parts according to customer drawings and specifications. This role requires strong setup skills, G & M code knowledge, and the ability to handle large or complex parts. Schedule -1st or 2nd shift available -4-day work week (Monday - Thursday) -1st shift hours 5:00 am - 3:00 pm -2nd shift hours 3:00 pm - 1:00 am -40-50 hours per week Key Responsibilities -Set up and operate CNC bar or horizontal machining centers -Load, edit, and verify CNC programs -Set up tooling, fixtures, and work holding as required -Machine large frames, weldments, and complex parts -Perform first-piece and in-process inspections -Manufacture parts to precise customer specifications -Maintain machines and perform basic maintenance -Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe -Communicate any production or quality issues to supervision Benefits -Health insurance -Disability insurance -Life insurance -Paid vacation -Paid holidays -Profit sharing program -Simple IRA with 3% dollar-for-dollar match -Paid breaks -Air-conditioned shop Pay rate is $30 - $40 per hour, $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift.
