The unit focuses on general surgery, urology, gynecology, and bariatric surgery. The daily patient ratio is 1:6. Ideal candidates will have experience with various surgical procedures and post-operative care. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. The ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams and pharmacy, is important. Candidates should be prepared to manage a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics. Experience with patient care involving surgical drains and wound care is preferred.
