Opportunity Details Full Time Senior Fabricator Redford, Michigan Fabricator Opportunities in Livonia and Redford, Michigan! All levels of Fabrication experience welcome! A local company with several manufacturing facilities in Livonia and Redford, Michigan is seeking several Fabricators for Long-Term opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Fabricators who are looking for a company that offers excellent growth, job security, competitive rates, good work/life balance, and premium rate overtime. The position is full-time and long-term with starting pay rates between $25 to $35 hourly based on experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We also offer paid overtime at 1 1/2 after 40/hrs. per week and excellent benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with matching, profit sharing, and more! Qualified Fabricators will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience: Fabrication experience with custom / prototype builds, assemblies, with ability to fabricate precision engineered structures and machinery from scratch. Read and interpret blueprints, 3D CAD drawings, troubleshoot build issues and work closely with engineering. Able to assess and determine appropriate equipment and methods to fabricate with. Must MIG Weld and be able to position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly/tacking and/or welding. Ability to operate shop tools/machinery: shears, presses, saws, drill press, grinders, cutting torch, manual mills/lathes, rigging equipment and cranes. Use of precision measuring tools (calipers/mics/height gauges), squares, scales, and fixtures. Must be authorized to work in the US, and complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
