Locums, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatrist for part-time Mental Health consultation services at a state facility in Cathedral City, CA. Must have a valid California license. About the Opportunity:- Work 3, 8-hour days and 2, 4-hour days per month (32 hrs per month)- Length of assignment from 7/1/20 to 6/30/23- Duties will include psychiatric consultations with facility residents, physicians, psychologists and nursing staff regarding treatment of clients and recommendations for medication changes. Requirements:- Active and unrestricted California State license- Active and unrestricted DEA- Board certification Psychiatrist by the ABPN- Minimum of 5 years of experience treating psychiatric patients dually diagnosed with psychiatric conditions and developmental disabilities - Minimum of 5 years of experience treating psychiatric patients in long term care facilities and transitioning to living in community settings.- Must not be an excluded practitioner per Medicare OIG- Bidder must know CA Code of Regs Title 22 ICT.DD and Federal Code of Regs Title 42 ICR/MR.
