PT PackagerNo Coast Wellness, St Paul Position Objective:This role focuses on packaging gummies and other cannabis products into bags, tubes, jars or bottles while assisting with general tasks around the manufacturing space including but not limited to cleaning, inventory, and production facility upkeep.Requirements:Must be 21 years of age or olderHigh School diploma or GEDMust be able to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past 10 years for a controlled substance-related felony.Must adhere to Office of Cannabis Management regulations and follow Company Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) at all timesMust have reliable transportation and be equally reliable.Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.Ability to follow written and verbal instructionsResponsibilities:Package gummies and other cannabis products into compliant bags, tubes, jars, bottles and other containersApply labels, lot codes, and batch information accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary packaging areaFollow all Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) regulations and company SOPsAssist with general manufacturing tasks during downtime, including cleaning, organizing, and staging materialsSupport daily setup and end-of-day cleanup of packaging and production areasCommunicate clearly with production leads and managersQualifications:Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsKnowledge of the cannabis industry and the associated federal, state, and local municipal laws and regulations.Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbsComfortable standing for extended periods on hard surfacesStrong counting, tracking, and inventory management skills.Able to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work with a diverse team.Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player.Qualified applicants have an aptitude for comprehending compliance and the ability to adhere to a regulatory framework monitoring.Must follow all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in accordance with the company's mission, vision, goals, and objective.Duties and Expectations:Stay current and adhere to all relevant federal, OCM, and municipal regulations.Follow all strict hygienic handling SOPs when packaging products.Maximize packaging yields while striving to minimize material waste.Catalogue all production batches.Effectively and correctly label all packaged products specific to Batch IDs and expiration dates.Move all packaged products into final packaging form and store correctly in designated storage areas according to OCM and Company Standards.Work with Manager when needed with reporting of required inventory management data in Metrc.Encourage and maintain an environment of high integrity to optimize product quality, efficiencyand compliance.Must adhere to the Companys stated Equality and Diversity and Drug-Free Workplace policies.Follow the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in accordance with the company's mission,Communicate resource needs to the Manager and as needed.Must maintain a culture of professionalism at all times.Foster a positive and communicative work environment.Must maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.Assist the Manager in updating any needed supply and inventory levels.Encourage and support open communication with employees to ensure a fair and friendly environment.Direct Supervisors:Director of Manufacturing, Kitchen ManagerPay:$17.00 HourlyBenefits:Flexible, hourly schedulePaid Time Off (PTO)Generous employee discounts and complimentary industry samplesExtensive training, education and development opportunitiesAbility for additional performance compensationThis role will remain open until filled, not to exceed 30 days from posting date.Working Conditions and Physical EnvironmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and can stand for long periods of time.We are an equal opportunity employer.
