LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Billing Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role supports the billing and accounts receivable function by managing customer billing portals and ensuring invoices and supporting documentation are submitted accurately and on time. The ideal candidate has experience working across multiple billing platforms and thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Job Summary The Portal Specialist will work closely with Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Operations teams to manage customer billing portals, track invoice status, resolve discrepancies, and support timely payment collection. Key Responsibilities Upload invoices, backup documentation, and required forms into customer billing portals Monitor portal activity including invoice status, rejections, and error messages Research and resolve portal rejections or discrepancies in coordination with Billing and AR teams Maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, and payment status Ensure invoices comply with customer-specific portal requirements and deadlines Communicate with internal teams to obtain missing or corrected billing information Respond to customer and internal inquiries regarding portal submissions and billing status Assist with portal setup, updates, and maintenance as new customers are onboarded Support month-end billing activities and reporting Perform additional billing or administrative duties as assigned Required Qualifications 1-3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or portal-based invoice processing Experience working in customer billing portals such as Ariba, Coupa, iSupplier, and similar platforms Government portal experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail with ability to manage high-volume workload Comfortable working across multiple systems and platforms Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with billing and finance teams Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour Search managed by: Samuel Morelock Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
