CDL Driver

CDL Driver Location: Various locations Reports To: Warehouse Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our team. The CDL Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a timely, efficient, and safe manner while adhering to all federal, state, and company regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Safely load, secure, and unload cargo according to established procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance. Maintain accurate logs of working hours, mileage, and deliveries using electronic logging devices (ELDs). Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety standards while on the road. Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to management. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
