Certified Surgical Tech

$5,000 sign-on bonus (must be certified with 2 years of experience to qualify) Position Summary: Functions as the member of the surgical team who assists the surgeon, anesthesiologist/anesthetist and RN in delivering direct patient care during the entire preoperative experience. Acts as the primary scrub person or first assistant during the operative procedure. Position Requirements: Graduate of a program of surgical technology of at least one year duration and possess certification by the Association of Operating Room Technicians. Current American Heart Association BLS Certification Ability to function in emergency situations Ability to take call as assigned and respond within 30 minutes Internal applicants and RUSH transfers are not eligible for the sign-on bonus. RUSH salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects RUSH's anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
