A Day in The Life of a CDL Truck Driver As a CDL Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. Must have a satisfactory driving record. Must have CDL Classification/Certification. Requires applicable truck driver license for state. Drive a truck with capacity up to three tons and usually six wheels to transport materials Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo Prepare delivery schedule Deliver materials to locations designated by the customer Obtain customer's signature for proof of delivery and help to unload truck Perform the duties of Warehouse Associate when not driving the truck and making deliveries What's in it for You Wesco is not just a job, but a company where you can learn, develop, and build your career! Compensation Details $26.02 - $32.53 Per Hour This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
