We are seeking a Sheetmetal Estimator to provide precise cost estimations for our client's projects. This position requires exceptional technical skills, organizational ability, and extensive product knowledge in the HVAC industry. Key Responsibilities: Revit experience is a plus. Develop initial cost estimates for Sheetmetal components in HVAC systems based on project specifications and designs. Review all general and supplemental conditions and specification requirements with the engineering team. Prepare detailed proposals for each quote, including project scope, specifications, and cost breakdowns. Collaborate with the design team and production departments to align schedules and ensure project feasibility and efficiency. Create detailed estimates covering equipment, materials, labor, and other project-related costs. Assist the design manager in generating required documentation for project submittal and approval processes. Work with engineering and accounting teams to define specific terms and conditions for shipping, representative commissions, and payment terms. Lead efforts to maintain and update the estimating program, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Provide detailed information and quotations for all mechanical and electrical sub-contract agreements related to Sheetmetal work. Qualifications: Strong technical and organizational skills. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and Sheetmetal components. Excellent communication skills for daily interactions with customers, project engineers, and department managers. Ability to develop comprehensive and detailed cost estimates. Experience in coordinating with design and production teams to ensure project feasibility and timelines. Proficiency in creating and maintaining documentation for project submittals and approvals.
