Job Description

The Materials Coordinator provides assistance with various purchasing functions will assist the department by verifying all incoming and outgoing shipments. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Reports to and assists the Material and Inventory Manager Places orders with vendors via phone, email, website or fax Matches packing slips with POs to verify order fulfillment & resolve any issues Maintains ENVI (Purchasing software) information Facilitates returns for items that are ordered incorrectly or damaged in transit Notifies department manager of backorders/recalls Reconciles freight/financial/receiving discrepancies in the invoice processing in ENVI Reconciles sterile supply inventory and replenishes as needed Assists with other projects as needed Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers. Counts or measures items in incoming and outgoing shipments, verifies information against invoices, orders and other records Keeps all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages Enters necessary data into computer for accurate tracking and inventory management Makes sure orders are tracked and shelves are stocked Adheres to all company safety standards Other Duties: As assigned by the Material and Inventory Manager Qualifications: Required: A high school diploma or the equivalent Organizational skills Strong communication skills Multi-tasking The ability to lift up to 75 pounds Driver's License with good record Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information One year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for prolonged periods Ability to work in various working conditions both indoors and outdoors, including but not limited to extreme heat and/or cold, and rain Ability to kneel, bend, and/or reach above the shoulders Preferred: College courses in business management/supply management Surgical Tech experience ADA Physical Demands: Rarely (Less than.5 hrs/day) Occasionally (0.6 2.5 hrs/day) Frequently (2.6 5.5 hrs/day) Continuously (5.6 8.0 hrs/day) Physical Demand Required?
