Supply Technician - ALL Performs variety of inventory/supply duties requiring an understanding of the governing supply systems, programs, policies work methods or other guidelines as directed to support the Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer (ISMT). The pay rate for this position is $32.89/hour + $4.93/hour H&W. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operates automated work management system to perform duties to support the ISMT contract requirements. Orders, inventories, stocks and controls the issue of spare parts and supplies. Compiles and maintains a list of vendors and prices for spare parts. Identifies, tags, locates and inventories Government and Company property. Assigns, inventory stock number(s), category codes and item descriptions for new items entering the supply inventory system. Coordinates the shipments of items requiring repair to and from using sites or vendors. Prepares and submits notifications to the Government on lost, damaged or destroyed property as required by the contract. Updates all applicable reports as required by the contract. Provides input to monthly reports pertaining to parts usage and purchase requests. Performs other duties as assigned. Supervision: None Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent 2 years of logistics experience in Logistics Operations, Maintenance and Operations or warehouse experience Strong analytical and problem solving skills Familiarity of standards in logistics and warehouse operations Working knowledge of Microsoft office products to include Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point. Must have valid Driver's license, insurance and maintain military base driving privileges. Obtain military licenses/certification if required. Familiar with current military regulations, policies and standards. Possesses the ability to work multiple projects /tasks; interface with Government, and US military personnel. Able to comprehend, read, speak and write proficiently in the English language Must be a U.S. citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance Willing to work any shift to include weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree (subject immaterial) Experience and knowledge of Alaska Native cultures Shareholder Preference: Pursuant to PL 93-638, as amended, preference will be given to qualified Ahtna Native Corporation Shareholders, Descendants, and Spouses in all phases of employment. Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to talk, including the ability to pass on information via the telephone, and verbally communicate with clients, staff and other employees, hear and see in order to perform his or her duties in a safe manner, including occasionally driving. The ability to lift up and move a minimum of 50 lbs., walk, bend, push, pull and stand is needed to perform all requirements of this position. Typically will have full dexterity of limbs to feel, reach, sit, kneel, stand, crawl or climb on small stepladders not to exceed 10 feet.
