Job DescriptionShipping LeadLocation: Elkhart, IN Pay: $25.00/hr Hours: Flexible, typically 8:00 AM - 4:40 PM We are seeking a motivated Shipping Lead to oversee daily shipping operations and lead our team in Elkhart. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments via LTL, FedEx, and UPS, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities: Process daily shipments and verify pick lists. Schedule LTL pickups and manage UPS/FedEx orders. Communicate priorities to the shipping team and coordinate with Production and Sales teams. Lead, train, and supervise shipping personnel; monitor attendance and performance. Maintain department organization, follow procedures, and ensure on-time shipments. Enter maintenance work orders and update sales orders in Syteline. Attend daily and weekly meetings to provide shipping updates and address concerns. Required Skills & Qualifications: Familiarity with ISO9001 quality systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Outlook, Internet, UPS Worldship, Weber software, and ERP systems. Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team. High School diploma required; some college preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
