Implement personalized speech therapy interventions focused on enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Work in tandem with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to establish cohesive treatment plans. Provide educational resources to patients and their families to encourage progress outside the therapy sessions. Conduct speech therapy evaluations and treatments for inpatients when necessary, ensuring uninterrupted care throughout the therapeutic process. Maintain meticulous, up-to-date documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in continuous learning and peer collaboration to stay abreast of advancements in the field. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) prior to obtaining ASHA certification is required. Certifications Required State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
