Packaging Associate

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Packaging Associate for a contract opportunity in Skaneateles, NY. REQUIREMENTS: - Must have basic computer skills, basic math skills, the ability to read and understand job instructions, and basic knowledge of tools. - Must be able to write legibly and use a numbering system. - Must understand and obey all safety rules and be able to perform all job tasks in a safe and timely manner. - Must be willing to work overtime on weekends and off shift to cover absentees and vacations on other shifts. - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. - Requires walking, lifting a minimum of 35 lbs., lifting above head, bending, twisting, pushing, stretching, squatting, pulling, reaching, standing, climbing, and carrying. - Will work around heat and fumes. - Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends - Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment is required - Position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time RESPONSIBILITIES: Packing blood pressure cuffs coming off of automated machine. - Performs some (up to all) of the following tasks: checking measurements, performing die adjustments, screening, performing visual inspections, cleaning equipment and area, making labels, bagging and tagging rolls, palletizing, using batch trace, wrapping/moving finished product, monitoring process, completing changeovers, updating batch boards, discarding scrap, creating/maintaining/verifying documentation, and cover other operators to allow for breaks. - Performs all other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: Accredited High School diploma or equivalent required. SHIFT: Full-Time 3rd Shift
