Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. Performs high-quality examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis. Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks. Supports breast center initiatives, such as accreditation preparation, community screening events, or quality improvement activities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Mammography procedures and positions [Required] Ability to determine appropriate technical factors [Required] Knowledge of Mammography equipment and the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and American College of Radiography (ACR) regulations [Required] Ability to review prior images/films and distinguish area of interest [Required] Ability to perform needle localizations, stereotactic core biopsies, and seed implants [Required] Education: Associate [Preferred] Bachelor's [Preferred] High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Field of Study: N/A Work Experience: 1+ years experience [Preferred] 1+ years experience in Mammography [Required] 1+ years experience performing stereotactic core biopsies [Required] 1+ years experience performing breast needle localizations [Required] 1+ years experience performing seed implants [Preferred] Additional Information: Additional Licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located.
