The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here. Job Summary The Spray Applicator measures, mixes, and applies various pesticides and fertilizers to assigned areas. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate spray equipment Measure mixing agents to create necessary sprays for application Apply various pesticides and fertilizers to maintain areas Education and Experience: Prior experience with chemical or spray applications is highly desired Must work under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent and Agronomic Technician Maintain a valid Driver's License Strong attention to detail Operate efficiently and safely at all times Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Ability to perform other cultural applications on a golf course as needed - assist with aerifications, applying seed to designated areas, sand topdressing applications Physical Demands/Requirements: Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping Work Environment: Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic Work near or about natural bodies of water Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.This job description is subject to change at any time.
