Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Budget & Grants Finance Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $100,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Oversee financial management for a portfolio of national grants, ensuring accurate tracking, spending, and documentation. Coordinate with development and program teams to review agreements, align budgets, and meet reporting deadlines. Prepare reimbursement requests, record transactions in financial systems, and maintain clear audit trails. Monitor compliance requirements, including deadlines, drawdowns, and allowable costs, and address issues proactively. Support continuous improvements in grant tracking, reporting workflows, and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; professional credentials such as CPA. At least 3+ years of nonprofit finance or grant accounting experience with hands-on government grant management. Strong familiarity with grant compliance, receivables, invoicing, and funder reporting practices. Proficiency with financial and grant systems (e.g., Blackbaud/Financial Edge or similar) and strong Excel skills. Solid understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and financial statement reporting. Qualifications: Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills and deadline discipline. Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professional judgment. Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels. Proven problem-solving skills and a process-improvement mindset within finance and grants. Comfortable supporting special projects and adapting to evolving organizational needs. REF #51775 #LI-DD1
