Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations through standardized assessments and observational evaluations. Craft individualized treatment plans that set immediate milestones while addressing broader communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver focused speech therapy interventions emphasizing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing functions. Collaborate with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to develop integrated care plans. Provide education to patients and their families to promote engagement and progress outside of therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless patient care throughout recovery. Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational standards. Continue professional development through ongoing education and collaborative learning with peers. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
