What You Will Be Doing Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies. Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in partnership with physicians or independently (as permitted by your credentials). Educating patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and managing diseases. Prescribing medications and therapies aligned with your practice scope. Engaging in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless and holistic care. Maintaining meticulous documentation through electronic medical records (EMR). Educational Prerequisites Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Required Credentials Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire within 90 days).
