Two Hilton branded hotels (DoubleTree & Embassy Suites) located in the heart of all that Rosemont has to offer with a convenient location to O'Hare Airport and walking distance of the Parkway Bank Park Dining & Entertainment District, Fashion Outlets Mall, Rosemont Theater, and Impact Field. The purpose of Executive Meeting Manager (EMM) position for the Embassy Suites & Double Tree by Hilton O'Hare is to drive revenue performance at both hotels while providing outstanding experience for our clients. The Executive Meeting Manager would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards by proactively prospecting and responding to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking meeting space, food and beverage services, and room night blocks between 11-30 rooms per night: Requirements The EMM is responsible for contracting and executing the event/conference/booking within hotel's booking parameters. Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost business for the hotel. Greet clients upon arrival for their events Maintain files and sales databases as per company standards• Achieve outlined room revenue and catering goals Prospecting for new business via phone, email and in person Participating in special promotions/blitzes Host in person and virtual site tours of the property Attend off premise after hour functions in order to promote the hotel as needed. Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts. Ensure all billing from groups and events are completed and sent out Detailing meetings and events through BEOs, Group Resumes, and other forms of internal communication. Manage group or interpersonal conflict situations effectively. Use problem-solving methodology for decision-making and follow-up Work cooperatively with all departments to fulfill the guest and clients' expectations, including special activities, set-ups, A/V, meal functions and meetings as related to in-house groups. Respond to guest requests or complaints in a prompt and professional manner. Be willing to support group and catering efforts of the hotel when needed. Actively utilize training tools available through Hilton, as well as on property sales tools. Also, develop a working knowledge of resources available through the hotel Other sales activities as assigned by Director of Sales & Marketing QUALIFICATIONS Experience in a hotel is preferred with a proven track record of success. A degree preferably in Sales and Marketing and/or Hospitality Management is a plus. Excellent command of oral and written skills with good group presentation abilities.
