RN - Emergency Department Nurse

The Registered Nurse will work closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to promote and restore patient health. Responsibilities include prescribing, providing, delegating, evaluating, and coordinating professional nursing care for patients of all ages, genders, cultures, and backgrounds. Additionally, the nurse offers physical and psychosocial support to patients, their families, and friends. Education and Certification Registered nursing degree from an accredited nursing school. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state. BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire. ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications to be completed within 1 year. Completion of TNCC for Emergency Room specialization. Experience and Requirements Experience working in emergency nursing is highly valued. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. This position embraces a holistic view of healthcare, respecting the dignity and faith of all individuals while maintaining high-quality service standards. Work shifts include rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays within a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest.
