Position Description: Provides direct nursing care, patient education and counselling, coordination of services for patients and their families, supervision of program activities in specialized areas, and assessment of patient needs. This position is intended for use in an institutional, inpatient setting involving high-risk and high-acuity patients within South Carolina state agencies. Registered Nurses in this role may serve as a Charge Nurse on a rotating basis or function as a Nurse Educator or Case Manager, as assigned.
