Possess or be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire a valid Wisconsin Commercial Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicator License. Minimum of five (5) years of professional landscaping or ground maintenance experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory or lead role. Strong horticultural knowledge with experience in landscape design, plant health, and sustainable grounds practices preferred. Must hold a valid State of Wisconsin driver's license with the ability to operate company vehicles and transport materials or equipment between sites as needed. What you'll do as a Landscape Lead: Lead and perform all aspects of campus landscaping and grounds care, including mowing, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and seasonal clean-up to maintain a safe and beautiful environment year-round. Oversee snow removal operations and equipment maintenance, coordinating staff schedules and ensuring readiness for all weather conditions. Supervise ground staff, contractors, and volunteers, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards while promoting continuous improvement across the team. Manage budgets, equipment, and documentation, supporting purchasing, preventative maintenance, and policy compliance within the Facilities and Grounds Department.
