Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Speech Language Pathologist on a PRN basis during daytime hours. This role involves comprehensive assessment and treatment of communication, speech, and swallowing disorders across pediatric to geriatric populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial evaluations including patient history, objective testing, and functional assessments to develop individualized care plans. Establish and adjust treatment goals using evidence-based clinical decision-making to optimize patient outcomes. Provide education to patients, families, and staff, and lead individual or group therapy sessions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical standards. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements. Education and Experience Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required. Preferred: Minimum two years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Experience working with a broad age range from pediatric to geriatric patients is advantageous. Licenses and Certifications Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or Clinical Fellow status under supervision. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Skills and Abilities Proficient in assessment and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Competent in using electronic health records and related software.
