Educational Background Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or similar degree with ongoing ASCP or AMT certification preparation. Certifications Acquire ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment. Maintain active certification status throughout your tenure.
