Quality Lab Inspector

Role Overview Kodak is looking for a Quality Lab Inspector to join our team. This position will be trained to work in our PCB lab and will work both independently and on quality-related team activities. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively through visual and verbal documents &/or emails. Responsibilities: • The Quality Lab Inspector position will be part of our Operations Team and interacts with engineering, production, and management personnel within the department • Frequently interact with other personnel in the film flow as needed • Perform tasks in darkrooms on a regular basis for setting up processes • Use quality guidelines to make a quality decision, or escalate to appropriate personnel • Investigate film quality problems to find the source and root cause • Understand and follow Standard Work processes relative to film quality • Will occasionally be required to handle chemicals with correct PPE Required Skills and Experience: • Must be comfortable both working alone and on team activities • Must pass a visual test for an examiner • Must demonstrate proper effective analytical troubleshooting • Must be able to identify quality problems and communicate effectively with teams • Must have suitable computer skills needed for recording and analyzing data and documentation • Must be able to work in the dark or in low-light conditions • Previous experience with film quality is a plus but not a requirement EOE Policy Statement: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
