CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist - 1st or 2nd Shift

Job Type Full-time Description Essential Responsibilities and Duties • Set up and Operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes to produce parts to print • Change cutting tools & inserts as needed • Conduct in process inspections as required • Complete basic machine maintenance such as filling fluid and changing filter • Conduct tasks in accordance with company work instructions. • Ensure work area is neat and clean • Other duties as required. • Programming and/or setup experience desired Requirements Requirements • 2 + years of experience operating Mills and/or Lathes. • 2 + years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably that makes parts or product for the aerospace industry. • Ability to read and understand blue prints, work instructions and use standard machine shop tools and gages. • Must have great communication skills in English (both verbal & written) • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others. • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently on assignments with minimal oversight or direction. • Ability to interact effectively with management and other team members • Ability to work overtime as required.
