Production Technician

Position OverviewSurface Cleaning Innovations is seeking a Production Technician to support our growing equipment repair, manufacturing, and distribution operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and being part of an innovative production environment.The Production Technician will be responsible for repairing floor cleaning equipment, supporting chemical bottling and shipping, assisting with manufacturing and assembly, and contributing to the development of new, cutting-edge floor cleaning machines, including projects involving 3D printing and electrical components.This position offers exposure to equipment repair, manufacturing processes, and distribution operations within a growing specialty cleaning and manufacturing company.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Repair & MaintenanceDiagnose, repair, and maintain floor cleaning equipment and related machineryPerform repairs on small engines, motors, and mechanical componentsTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics and manualsTest and validate repaired equipment to ensure proper operationProduction & Manufacturing SupportAssist in the assembly and production of equipment and componentsSupport development and prototyping of new floor cleaning machinesUse and maintain 3D printers and assist with printed part integrationWork with electrical motors, wiring, and basic control componentsChemical Production & DistributionAssist with chemical bottling, labeling, and packagingPull and prepare orders for shipmentLoad, unload, and organize materials and finished goodsWarehouse & Material HandlingOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and pick-pack equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe production and warehouse environmentTrack inventory and assist with restocking production materialsRequired QualificationsSmall engine repair or mechanical repair experienceExperience using power tools and shop equipmentBasic electrical knowledge and ability to work with motorsAbility to read and understand schematics, diagrams, and manualsStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack (or willingness to be trained)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the dayPreferred Skills & ExperienceInterest or experience with 3D printing (FDM or similar systems)Manufacturing, assembly, or production experienceWarehouse or distribution experienceMechanical or technical certifications (not required)Strong problem-solving mindset and curiosity to learn new systemsWhat We OfferCompetitive pay at $20.00 per hourFull-time, stable schedule  MondayFriday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMNo overtime required (max 40 hours per week)Health insurance available after 90 daysDental and vision insurance available after 90 daysRetirement plan available after 90 daysPaid Time Off (PTO)Seven (7) paid holidays annuallyEmployee discounts on products we manufacture and distributeHands-on experience across equipment repair, manufacturing, and distributionOpportunity to work with 3D printing, prototyping, and new equipment developmentTraining on specialized tools, machinery, and systemsLong-term growth potential within a growing, innovation-focused companyIdeal Candidate ProfileThis role is best suited for someone who:Enjoys working with their hands and solving mechanical problemsHas a technical or mechanical background and wants to grow their skill setIs curious about manufacturing, automation, and new equipment designTakes pride in producing high-quality, reliable work recblid 69oleeiklhh8vqy5kupl11qpbuodt9
