Compensation Analyst The Compensation Analyst will report to the Compensation Manager for Humanscale and will be responsible for assisting with the organization's sales compensation calculations, processing, and communications. This role works in a team setting to ensure accurate and timely payment calculations. The position will be responsible for responding to and researching inquiries from the sales organization in a timely manner. In addition, this position will have close collaboration with the sales and finance teams on sales analysis, goal planning and annual compensation plan design. Responsibilities include: Serving as a compensation Business Partner to Commercial and International Sales. Calculating monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual employee bonus and commission payments per compensation plans and results. Monitoring plan effectiveness and communicating this feedback to sales management and executives. Proactively researching and resolving sales employees' compensation issues. Calculating Royalty and Rep Group compensation payments. Analyzing existing compensation/payroll policies and procedures and making recommendations to improve operational efficiencies. Working effectively across teams within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Analyzing compensation trends to support business retention and growth. Working closely with IT Developers on all aspects of sales tools; ensuring that the systems, tools, and processes are in place to make it easy to run monthly compensation. Maintaining up-to-date procedural documentation. Participating in ad-hoc projects, reporting and analysis, and any other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field. Experience in sales compensation or related field a plus. Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlines in a fluid, fast paced environment. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality while requiring minimal supervision. Computer skills must be proficient with MS Excel. Experience with macros is a plus but not required.
