We're hiring an Associate level Recruiter for our Utilities client who support full?cycle recruitment efforts for technical, professional, and operational roles within the utility industry. This position focuses on recruiting engineering talent, project managers, field operations professionals, and other utility?specific roles. The Associate Recruiter partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, source qualified candidates, and ensure an efficient and positive hiring experience. Candidates should have at least 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within the utility sector or recruiting for roles such as engineers, construction/project managers, and technical specialists. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, refine job requirements, and create accurate, compelling job descriptions for utility-focused roles. Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social platforms, industry networks, employee referrals, and utility-sector professional associations. Screen and evaluate applicants by reviewing resumes and conducting initial phone/video interviews to assess technical and cultural fit. Coordinate the interview and selection process, including scheduling interviews, collecting hiring manager feedback, and guiding candidates through each stage. Manage recruitment operations, including ATS updates, candidate communication, reference checks, offer support, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Required Qualifications 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within the utility, engineering, construction, or energy sectors. Demonstrated experience recruiting engineers, project managers, field technicians, or other technical roles. Strong communication, relationship?building, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast?paced environment. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), (ICIMS preferred) sourcing tools, and modern recruiting platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.). Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; PHR or SHRM?CP certification is a plus.
