Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Our rural hospital, located in Bath, NY is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in the Emergency Department (ED) and Observation Unit. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive, collegial environment alongside experienced ED physicians. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care to patients in the Observation Unit. Assist in the rural Emergency Department alongside ED physicians. Conduct assessments, diagnostic testing, and treatment plans. Manage and monitor patients' care throughout their stay in the hospital. Collaborate with a close-knit team to deliver excellent patient outcomes. Ensure proper documentation and patient communication. Qualifications: Current NY state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). New graduates are welcome to apply. Previous experience in Emergency Medicine or Acute Care preferred but not required. Strong clinical and communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Benefits: Competitive salary: $146,000-175,000 annually. Comprehensive benefits package.
