Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based settings, located in Santa Ana, California. This position offers full-time hours working with students ranging from preschool to high school across multiple sites within a smaller school district setting. Key Details: Contract duration: March 30 to June 5, with optional summer work available Additional contract period from August 14 to October 30, 2026 Working hours: typically 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of flexible scheduling Caseload includes students from preschool through high school Travel required between 2 to 4 school sites within the district Professional services to be provided independently; COTA support is not part of this role Interviews conducted via Zoom on Wednesday or Friday afternoons Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for California Experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting preferred Competency working with a diverse student population across multiple age groups Ability to adapt to a smaller district environment and manage travel between sites Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and students Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress documentation for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting educational goals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and inclusion Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining compliance with school district and state regulations Coordinate travel arrangements and time management between assigned sites This role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist seeking an engaging school environment with the opportunity to impact students across a range of developmental stages.
